We always want to change ourselves.
Most times our desired changes are for the greater good, so why is it so difficult to achieve these goals. Why are we too lazy one day to work out so we can lose that little extra weight. Why must we always put it off until tomorrow....the next day.....the next day.....never. Then we gradually forget about this change until we begin to disgust ourselves again. Why?
How many people can honestly say that they achieved their New Years Resolution. If you have, great! Congratulations! I truly admire you. But for the rest of us, what is our problem? Why can't we focus on what's important to us. Why is it so imperative one day, and then not so much the next day?
I'm even this way whencleaning my room. I'll clean steadily for a half hour....and then take a break that lasts the entire day. I lose my focus even if
I KNOW it's important.
Are we truly the ADD generation? I can't blame that....I don't have ADD.
It's frustrating....I can't take it.
So here are my goals this year....
- To rid myself of my procrastinating habit.
- To relax a little...become less stressed over the little things in life.
- To be myself in my unashamed, unabashed entirety. I'm sick of my giggly, crazy nervous self.
- and...yes To lose a little weight. ONLY A LITTLE. DON"T FLAME. Maybe not even lose. Just tone up. There's nothing wrong with that.
So how many out there have goals that you are DEAD SET on achieving right now....but know that tomorrow they won't seem as important? Don't let it happen. I'm going to try my absolute hardest to achieive these goals.
I've got my heart and mind set.
